What is the difference between a 140x190 and a 135x190?

The 140x190 is 5 cm wider and the same length. Check that your bed base or storage bed is 140 before buying it.

Can I put a 140x190 mattress on a bed base of a different size?

No. The mattress must go on a 140x190 bed base or storage bed: if the base is shorter, it will overhang and deform, and if it is longer, the mattress will shift.

We are a couple with very different weights; which 140x190 mattress should we choose?

If one of you weighs more than 95 kg, choose the Colchón XL. If not, choose the firmness based on the heavier person and how you sleep: firmer if you sleep on your back or stomach, slightly less firm if you sleep on your side.

How to choose if you sleep together

First, look at weight: all mattresses are guaranteed for up to 95 kg per person; if one of you weighs more than 95 kg, the recommended model is the Colchón XL. Next, firmness: firm if you sleep on your back or stomach, medium or medium-firm if you sleep on your side. If one of you gets hot, the VisCool is the coolest in the range. And the pocket-spring models reduce the transfer of movement to the other side.

140x190 or 140x200?

The 140x200 has the same width and is 10 cm longer, for couples where at least one person is tall. Before buying, check the size of your bed frame: a 200 cm mattress will not fit on a 190 cm frame. If you are also changing the frame, check out the Morfeo storage beds, with assembly included.
